Match the access to your project
For a house repaint, reroof, reclad or repair, our residential scaffolding service considers rooflines, ground conditions and household routes. Show us which sides of the building need work and whether trades will share the scaffold.
For business premises, our commercial scaffolding service supports construction and maintenance access. Include operating hours, vehicle movements and any public areas alongside the proposed work.
For changing work positions or smaller maintenance tasks, discuss mobile scaffolds. Tell us the surface, access route and work height so we can talk through the requirements.
Discuss access and protection together
The project may need more than a working platform. We also provide edge protection, safety nets and shrink wrapping and weather protection. Explain what the trades are doing and which parts of the building will be exposed.
Keep these requirements distinct in the brief. A request for roof access should describe both the approach to the work and the edge or exposure issues for discussion. Our roofing access guide gives you a useful starting checklist.
Why the exact address matters
Send the site address early, even when dates are still being discussed. It helps us understand the location and plan the site review and logistics. Include the approach from the road, gate or driveway constraints, parking arrangements and where equipment could be unloaded.
If the address covers several buildings, mark the relevant building on a plan or photograph. Describe occupied areas and routes that need to remain available. For rural or industrial sites, include arrival instructions and the site contact.
Your Waikato enquiry checklist
- Locate the work. Give the full address and identify the building or elevation.
- Describe the task. Name the trades and the areas they need to reach.
- Show the site. Add photos of the work, ground and vehicle approach.
- Explain the sequence. Share preferred dates and the likely period of use.
- Flag constraints. Tell us about occupants, neighbouring boundaries and business activity.
For example, a useful home-project enquiry names the walls to be painted, when preparation starts and which entrance the household needs to use. That gives us more to work with than a request based only on house size.
From enquiry to the agreed setup
We review the project details and discuss access, height, ground conditions and the likely trade sequence. The agreed plan sets the basis for installation and later dismantling. Tell us if the job changes so we can discuss the access implications before the trades proceed.
Use our scaffolding guide to prepare the wider project brief, and the quote comparison worksheet to review scope and hire-period assumptions.
Your questions
Are you based in Waikato?
We serve Waikato from our South Auckland base at 10 Domain Street, Waiuku. Send the project address with your enquiry so we can discuss the location and timing.
Can several trades use the same planned access?
Tell us which trades need access and their sequence. We can consider their requirements together when discussing the scaffold layout.
