Mobile Scaffold Hire Cost: Tower Quote Checklist

Mobile scaffold hire cost starts with the tower and access arrangements your task needs. Give us the work height, route, surface and likely hire period so we can discuss the configuration and the scope of your quote.

Describe the task before choosing a tower

A tower’s working area and height need to suit the task, tools and people using it. Describe what you are doing and where your hands need to work. Include any ceiling features, projecting surfaces or obstacles that affect reach.

Our mobile scaffolds service includes mobile towers, platforms and podium steps for changing work areas and maintenance. Use our working-height explainer to distinguish the task height from the platform height when preparing your enquiry.

ConfigurationWhat tower or platform arrangement is proposed for this task?
Hire periodWhat dates are covered and what happens if more time is needed?
Getting it to siteWhat delivery or collection arrangement is included?
Assembly and removalWho is responsible, and what work is included in the quote?
MovementWhat is the agreed process when the working position changes?
Price conditionsDoes the total include GST, and what exclusions apply?

Ask for clarification where two quotes describe different configurations or responsibilities. A headline hire rate alone will not explain the full arrangement.

Include the route to every work position

Measure accessible doorways or openings safely and show the route in photographs. Note steps, slopes, thresholds, tight turns and changes in surface. Describe whether the job is indoors, outdoors or moves between the two.

For example, a corridor maintenance job may involve several separate positions and restricted access during business hours. A quote brief should explain those movements and timing constraints, not just the highest point of work. The suitability of the surface and the equipment needs assessment before use.

Build the hire period around the actual task

List preparation, the main work and final checks. Tell us if another trade needs to follow or if the space can only be used at certain times. Confirm the arrangements for an extension rather than assuming an extra day has the same scope or charge.

When deciding whether mobile access suits the job, compare the area to reach and how often the position changes. Our scaffold and scissor-lift comparison helps frame that discussion.

Your mobile quote brief

  • Address and contact person for the work area.
  • Task, tools and number of people needing the platform.
  • Work-height information and any reach constraints.
  • Photos of the floor or ground and the approach.
  • Doorways, steps and movement between positions.
  • Preferred dates and the complete task sequence.

If the job needs an erected scaffold along a building, use the general scaffold quote guide instead. That worksheet covers elevations, working levels and a building-wide installation.

Your questions

Can I choose a mobile tower by height alone?

Height is only part of the brief. Tell us about the task, working area, tools, surface and access route so the configuration can be considered together.

Are delivery and assembly always included?

Confirm these arrangements in your individual quote. Ask who handles each step and which charges or responsibilities are included.

Price the mobile access your task needs

Send the address, work-height details and photos of the access route. Include how often the work position changes and your intended dates.
